Guidelines

Please review these guidelines will help to ensure a positive experience when working on jobs referred to you through Dental Temps:

» Call the dental office at least 2 days prior to your scheduled work day to confirm the assignment and get directions.

» When you are scheduled at a new office, be sure to bring proper identification for payroll. Typically this will include your social security card and your drivers license: Click here for a complete listing. For licensed professionals such as RDA's, RDH's DDS's, you MUST have on you at all times your professional license (pocket license) and CPR card. In addition to this, we recommend that you bring completed W-4 and I-9 forms to each new assignment that you go on. Click here to download printable forms.

» Never leave a new work assignment without completing a W-4 form.

» Be punctual (arrive at least 20 minutes prior to start time).

» Dress appropriately and maintain a professional appearance at all times. Hair should be neat, and pulled back if longer than shoulder length. Heavy make-up or perfume should be avoided.

» You are expected to complete your assignments in a courteous and professional manner. Please do not become involved with the internal politics of the facility you are assigned to.

» If you are running late by five (5) minutes or more call the office to inform them.

» Always follow OSHA standards.

» Please remember that you are representing Dental Temps. Always maintain a professional attitude. If you have complaints about the office, please tell us and we will follow up. Please do not complain directly to the facility.

» Reliability is a key attribute for Temps to possess. You are filling in for someone else that could not be there (that is why you have the job!). DO NOT commit to an office unless you are 100% sure that you will be able to keep your commitment.

» Remember, the dental office is a client of Dental Temps. Do not give out your phone number - all phone contact from dental offices to you is to be done through Dental Temps.

» Notify Dental Temps if you are asked to work additional days. Never accept additional work days directly from an office we send you to. ALL scheduling is to be done through Dental Temps. If an office wishes additional days, tell them to contact Dental Temps

» All job information is STRICKLY CONFIDENTIAL! This information (including Doc's Name, Location, Dates etc.) is not to be disclosed to ANYONE, including co-workers, peers, and friends.
